This is for Paralee.
You are doing a fantastic job.
But there is a "BUT"
I found the latest "imperfect subjunctive" left me confused.
For example in the examples of the "Imp Sub" I "felt" that they were "Present Imperfect" - not sure why but will have to go back and listen and watch again to both.
Anyway - thanks a million.

Beto,

While I appreciate your enthusiasm for the lessons, I would ask that you give me a little time. I release one lesson per week and as of this week, that will put us at Learn Spanish 3.13. So Learn Spanish 4 will begin in 2 weeks. And I will still release one lesson a week as this is about as fast as I can work while performing other jobs for the site. Also, one lesson a week is very standard for podcasts.

And thank you, everyone else for the kind comments. I am very proud of the lessons and it means so much to know how much people are learning and enjoying the process. So thank you!

I like to say that this site is brilliant!! I'm working my way through the learn Spanish sections and it has been the best place for me to learn clearly. I am forever greatful for this and feel you should pay for this kind of quality. So thanks again and I can't wait for the 4th installment!!

Thanks a lot John, welcome to the forum smile

Hi Heidita
I meant of course "Learn Spanish" not "Learn English" - although I also use the Learn English to help my Spanish speaking students and to help me understand spoken Spanish. Paralee's Spanish is so "clear".

Remember all the material is free and the result of a lot of hard work.

I wish all people remembered that Ian, thanks. smile I found this somewhat demanding thread by Beto rather rude.

Leave Paralee alone. If ALL lessons were "in the can" we would have them I am sure.
The work involved in preparing such excellent material is considerable.
Learn English 4 will arrive I am sure - let's get learn English 3 first though. Remember all the material is free and the result of a lot of hard work.

Hello Beto:

I joined this site when Lesson 1.6 was the final lesson. The lessons would keep coming about once a week, sometimes 2 weeks. Then Learn Spanish 2 was listed -- again each lesson was posted almost weekly. (Didn't even know that a Learn Spanish 3 was being considered.) I found it fun anticipating the up-coming lessons.

Anyway, I also can't wait for Learn Spanish 4 -- I am sure Paralee will provide some great free Spanish lessons.

I doubt that even the instructor, Paralee Whitmire, in the Learn Spanish and Learn English series could answer that question at the moment. This site is under partial re-construction. I would bet that her schedule is being interrupted continually with other technical concerns.
Besides some of the format for these series entails using information learned from one lesson to prepare for subsequent more advanced lesson topics. The lessons are fairly stand-alone, but you can't cover advanced topics unless you know your audience understands the fundamentals involved. As she hasn't finished series 3 yet, it is hard to forecast the topics of series 4 let alone discuss a schedule for posting them.

As I have seen threads where she has solicited ideas for topics and themes for vocabulary sections I don't think these lessons are "in the can" on a shelf somewhere waiting to be posted.
But just out of curiosity why would you be inquiring about series 4 when you haven't even done series 3 yet (since it hasn't been posted)?
Have you seen some kind of syllabus (table of contents)laying out the
series and the topics that will be presented? If so, please share it as I haven't seen it. If that is the case I could understand your being impatient to get to a topic that you are interested in.

Hi Beto, welcome to the forum

We need to be patient wink

Please remember this is a free site, there is no "obligation" to stick to a fixed time table, even though I am sure Paralee, the teacher, is doing her best.
