hamaquita- also called Cunita ? Cradle: A forward and backward rocking step done in time with the music and with or without chiches, which is useful for marking time or changing direction in a small space. This movement may be turned to the left or right, danced with either the left or right leg forward, and repeated as desired.

Corridita-Corrida ? (also: corridita, a little run) from correr: to run. A short sequence of running steps.

Viborita ? Viper; the little snake: A figure in which the man places his right leg between his partners legs and takes a sacada to first her left and then her right legs in succession using a back and forth slithering motion of the right leg and foot.
