It was with the CH sound, and was in relation to when something did not go they're way or when something was bad, like they screwed something up. That's not quite the right situation, but it is the best I can explain it as.

HI latilla, how do you hear the ch'? Like in chalk?

I could mean:

mal hachete = bad axe

If the ch is pronounced like in "jefe"...

mala gente= bad people...

I mean, there are still several possibilities. In what context do they use this'

Nope, I am pretty sure it was Chete but leche would have been a great explaination. I don't know, I have been mulling this one over with many different dictionaries for quite some time, but I am sure it was Chete. Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Ana

Probably "mala leche", meaning "bad blood", "ill-feeling" (there is no "buena leche", by the way).
"Estar de mala leche" is "to be in a shitty mood".
"Poner a alguien de mala leche" is to p'''' this person off.
