tracking down song
Hola amigos!
I caught maybe two lines of a song - loved it and am trying to track it down. Have browsed lots of music lists but to no avail - sounded
something like...
"como yo soy la terrano quien amigos"..
Tanto le me doy (something) hombres..
Siempre me manda animales...
Even with my limited Spanish I know the above doesn't make much sense..
It sounded like a "group" rather than an individual.
Also it sounded sort-of folksy-cajun(ish)
(definitely a case of Chinese whispering!)

And..I eventually did track down my song...and I was a long way off with my "words" - they actually were..
"Como Dios en la tierra no tiene amigos..."
And of course it is "Alicia Adorada".
But still and all, I have since downloaded an entire album of
Carlos Vives. I am rapt! I love his music!

It was definitely a male (or a male group) but the word terrano? Take that with a grain of salt. Just "phonetically" what I heard.

any idea what terrano means or why it would be feminine? Was it a male or female singer? (Not that a woman couldn't be singing a song written for a man or vice-versa).
