affirmative words?
let's say someone gives you an order to do something. then you proceed by saying okay/alright/sure to affirm that you are going to follow that order.
are there words in spanish that mean "okay", "alright", or "sure"'

Claro que sí o claro son palabras perfectas. In Argentina I did a lot of listening since my conversation is less than up to speed. As one person would talk or tell a story, their audience would often listen and say "claro, claro, caro que sí, claro, etc... Their major wireless provider is a company called Claro, which I thought was a bit of genius since it means clear(as in sound quality) and OK,sure you bet, of course etc...

There are probably as many ways to express agreement or compliance as there are in English. In Spain ...vale comes to mind, though it can have other meaning than OK.
**Está bien **is fairly universal.
Sí is fairly simple to understand. Claro, por supuesto, etc.
Throw those English words into the dictionary. That's what it's for.
