Old forum layout

Question

Is there a way to view all of the forums together in one like there used to be before or is this how the forum is going to be going forward?

I understand that there have been changes due to necessity, but I much prefer the old forum interface over the current interface.

Thanks Heidita. I am grateful for this site. It is a great way for me to pratice and improve my Spanish and to have it critiqued. I know that some things have to change, and that everything had to be done from scratch, basically, but for now I am glad that the forums are back up.

Hi everybody, I cannot but agree with everybody so far.

The web creator has tried to bring up the site as fast as possible, so many things are still not on. We are looking into the layout to make it more friendly . We are also accepting and considering all kind of suggestions how to improve the thread layout. We are going to change the most popular threads to a different layout.

We do not have avatars yet or pictures. But as soon as things run smoother, we will have the page improved by pictures and we are looking into the way of allowing or bringing up a comment wall again. This site had to restart from scratch so to speak, please be patient.

We are very grateful for suggestions and input on everything, thanks a lot

I agree with what is written here.I was so excited that SpanishDict was back but where did all my friends go? No faces, not as easily navigated, not very friendly looking....agh!

I have to agree Nathaniel. I've been holding my tongue, because I already have way too many demerits, but the recent activity view, which was the default view as far as I know, was was a much better way of staying on top of what's happening than having to look inside each folder that has changed color to see if what's there is worth looking at. May not be something they can do for us, but it would be a huge improvement. Any increase in friendliness that this forum's interface had over certain others has gone south. Things are still in flux, so I have my fingers crossed. Speaking of which, does that make sense in Spanish? con dedos cruzados'
