Log-in in problems

We have had notice that many people have had serious problems logging in, I am one of them. gulp

One of the admins has solved this problem so far by amending the issue about using the username or email for logging in.

You have to use your email for logging in and your password, if you have forgtotten that one you can ask for a new password during the logging in.

However, if you are using Firefox, this might not work. excaim I have found that I log in, as described before, and the system welcomes me: you are logged in now, welcome....and I find myself on the main page, and....NOT LOGGED IN!

If you are using Firefox, please try to log in with another browser. I am logged in now with Explorer as Firefox is simply not letting me in. Annoying , I know.

We are sorry about this inconvenience and trying to solve the problem. smile

Hi Heidita I have no problems with Auto Log In now.
BUT
I still can't download aprender inglés 1.6
It just does not open the video / watch section.
It's great to have the site back up and running.

Marco, I know that there was a limit before, although I don't know what it was. I once posted a long post and had to divide it into two posts.

Hi Heidi,

I have another question. After the website got updated, we now are not able to post any posts that are more than 6000 characters. I may be wrong that I remember that we were able to post more than 6000 characters before.

Is this a limit that you admins put on or it's a problem that hasn't got resolved?

Thank you,

Marco

Heidi, I have no problem with log in and I am using Firefox. I think this problem should have been solved already.

By the way, I am extremely happy that our favorite learning website came back. It's been long time and I had nothing to do without this great website!

The site looks differently and I can not tell right now whether it got better or not. Maybe I haven't got used to it.

However, I think that one thing that might not be better is that we can not see the previous posts which we reply to. We probably need to open another window in order not to make typing errors or any difference between old and new posts.

Of course, there may be some ways that we can see it, I just don't know yet.

I use Firefox and have had no problems so far.

Pero ¿qué pasó con los avatares? Nos ayudan a reconocer a los foreros mucho más rápido, y espero que regresen pronto.

Thanks for the input, zoltan, we need to know if this might be an error everywhere.

It must not be universal. May depends on your operating system and/or it's version. I am an OS/2 and eCS user and do not notice any problem.
