Hey everyone, I was here before the maintenance but never posted on the forums, maybe a good time to start. smile

Me llamo Brandon. Soy de Tennessee,EEUU y soy bombero voluntario.

I'm in college and learning spanish for some great friends at my current job who speak very little english. I didn't realize how beneficial spanish is until just this year. In my planned career of arson investigation, being bilingual will be very useful. I was wanted to let everyone know a little about me and you might see me around here more often.

Anytime I'm not here you can find me on Myspace. http://www.myspace.com/21361835

Adiós.

Brandon,
Keep studying your Spanish. I am the fire & arson investigator for Meridian, MS fire department. We have more and more Latinos living here. I worked a fire two weeks ago that had 12-15 Latino's living and working in the house. I was the only person who could speak with them and try to find out what happened. Even in the deep south, the Latino population is increasing, and will continue to do so. The Latins will become part of our culture, whether people like it or not. Your language skill will comce in handy, keep it up.

smile Much gusto a todos. When it comes to me, speaking spanish and writing are two seperate things. The whole alt+number commands confuse me... I only know ñ because without it, it could possibly be a different word.

Amber, yo tambien. Mi español es no muy bien tampoco pero estoy aprendiendo.

Hola Brandon! Me llamo Glenn.
I'm fairly new to this site but quite glad I stumbled across it.
Soy estudiante de ayudante medico. Soy de Chicago. ¡Vaya Bulls!
I'm taking spanish for the same reasons as you(eg. spanish friends/patients). In the healthcare field, one can't functon efficiently without it.
¡Hable luego!
