Sup! Que significa?
What does Sup mean. I here it alot when people are responding to a question in forums online where people often use slang. I am begining to think it means yup or yes, or something like that. Any opinions?

It means, "'Que paso'" Literally, it is "what's up'", shortened to "whassup'", shortened to "sup'".
It means What's up-Que pasa.
It could be a contracted from of "supongo que sí" which more or less translates as "I suppose so."
i think it means "What's up" or "what's going on'" SUP is slang for "Whats up".
Could it be an acronym?
I am over 40 myself and I have wondered few times those short words which the teenagers use in chats. I am studing three languages and I have decided that I am not going study these words because there are so many different kind words which can mean almost everything. This is what I hate most in the language which those new generations use: "hav u 2 met be4'".
I found few pages from the internet. I hope these will help you.

No I'm talking about more like someone asking a question and then someone answering it. Here's moer like what i mean: Pablo llevo esta sueter ayer? and then someone will write "sup!" It is usually not that direct and more when a question is or has doubt.
