Quisiera is the imperfect subjunctive of querer (to want)
gustaría is the conditional of gustar (to be pleasing)

These are 2 ways to ask for things politley.
Me gustaría una bebida, por favor.
Quisiera una bebida,por favor.
Used in this way there really is no difference in the meaning that is conveyed to the listener.

well, quisiera comes from querer, to want, and gustaria comes from gustar, to like.
