LIQUIDACION PROVISION DE FONDAS PARA HIPOTECA FORMALIZADA

This message came from our bank along with some money credited to our account - I know it has something to do with our mortgage, possibly a refund of taxes, but don't know what it means?
Can anyone help'

This site defines "provisión de fondos" as "advance" so how about the following translation, "Mortgage Settlement Advance Finalized"? Judging from Rodrigo's explanation, I would think "formalizada" modifies "liquidación" since the money was credited to your account. My take is essentially similar to the one originally posted by James (I think.)

Provisión de fondos
Como ya le indicamos al principio, la compra-venta de un inmueble y su financiación con un préstamo hipotecario lleva parejos una serie de gastos necesarios para llevar a cabo la operación y que son ajenos a la entidad, como es el caso del notario, gestoría, impuestos, etc.
Pues bien, el día de la escritura usted deberá realizar una provisión de fondos a favor de la gestoría que se encargará de los trámites administrativos para hacer frente precisamente a estos gastos.
Si una vez abonados queda algún remanente -suele ser habitual- la entidad le ingresará en su cuenta el importe de la liquidación que realice la gestoría. Usted tendrá todos los recibos.

Liquidation (Hmm something is missing here) Provision of Funds for mortage formalization. To tell you the truth I am not really sure what this says all together because there seems to be something missing between liquidation and Provision. Sorry I don't think I can help!

There seems to be some missing punctuation or something, since liquidación and provisión don't really fit together here. I think provisión in this context means remittance, so it would be "Remittance of mortgage funds finalized." Of course, that leaves the liquidación hanging. I don't see anything to do with taxes.
