Catalan pronunciation

Hi

I am sitting my Spanish Diploma exam soon and have been given the materials on which I have to give a 5 min talk. It is about the political protest songs sung by Catalan groups in the 60's onwards.

My oral test is in Castellano but some of the words are, by their nature, Catalán.

If someone could tell me how you pronounce the words 'Nova Cançó' I'd be very grateful.
Is it similar to French? So it would be 'Know-va Kans-ow'?

I didn't find it any more difficult than Castellano.
