letter to friends in Uruguay
Hi, working on another letter to Uruguay. It's a response to one I just received. This is what I have so far:
*Que bueno oír de ustedes.Tuve un grande sorpresa al abrir mi correo esta mañana. Sé que Eduardo y vos están muy ocupados. No te preocupes de no has respondido a mis cartas hasta ahora. He escrito demasiadas cartas, pero creo que mi español es mejor que cuando empecé. Como le dije a Eduardo, si recibo un mail de ustedes,me encanta. Si no, no importa. Tengo buenos amigos en un país muy lejos de aquí (Aún me sorprende eso), y quiero aprender su idioma para que podamos hablar si conseguimos verrnos otra vez. Lo que es importante para mi es escribir en castellano. Escribiré mas mañana. Me duele la cabeza de tanto español malo.
OK ahora es mañana. Matt hubiera querido decir adiós a ustedes también, pero como me dijiste, él y sus amigos pasaron muy bien el tiempo con Graciela, y después sin ella. Su amigo casi se quedó en Montevideo porque el le gusta el ciudad tan mucho, pero creo que al final volvió a Buenos Aires.

How nice to hear from you. I had quite a surprise when I opened my Mail this morning. I know that Eduardo and you are very busy. Don't worry that you haven't responded to my mesages until now. I have written too many messages, but I think My Spanish is better than when I started. Like I told Eduardo, If I get a mail from you,It makes me happy, If I don't it doesn't matter. I have good friends in a country very far from here (that still surprises me), and I want to learn their language so that we can speak if we ever manage to meet up again.What is important for me is to write in Spanish. I will write more tomorrow. I have a headache from too much bad Spanish.
Ok, It's tomorrow. Matt would have liked to say goodbye to you as well, but like you told me he had a good time with Graciela, and afterwards without her. His friend almost stayed in Montevideo he liked the city so much, but I think he returned to Buenos aires in the end

Many thanks to Lazarus, Heidita and Quentin. I appreciate the help and the kind words. Even the questions about the pronouns and is it singular or plural' ust make me have to examine what I have before me closer so that I can either defend or change it. I just hope That I can get to a point where I can actually converse someday so that I can say thank you without typing. Even in English I will never be a good typist.

Using "voseo", you have to say "no te preocupes (vos)". The 2nd person in plural is the same as the rest of America: "ustedes se preocupan". Your use of the verbs is the correct one.
Where do you see second person plural? If you mean vos, I just threw that in for them They don't use tú, but instead use vos.

I am sure There are mistakes, but they are in S.A, and they are a couple so I received a letter from the wife (singular) but I am sending messages to both of them(ustedes and 3rd person since they don't use vosotros in Uruguay. At one point I said that I know that you(singular) And Eduardo(singular) are(plural) busy. 2nd person plural in America is a third person conjugation, right? . And thanks for the speedy reply

You're all over the place with your pronoun usage. You are adressing them as as 2nd person, singular, then 2nd person plural, and third person plural
