since the new format started I receive two emails every day; each in different formats.

How do I get one of them to stop?

I have looked through my profile and there is nothing about word of the day

I was just having the same problem. I had subscribed as my user and had just signed up with my email. I unsubscribed the email that came without my name on it.

I would think it would be a small thing for the database administrator to to check the independent list of subscribers to the emails of the user of the site to reduce duplicates. No doubt there are many people that signed up for the word of the day before signing up as a user and are now getting both.

Hmmm, yes, that was the answer. It seems to have taken both subscriptions. I know what the problem is on the website. spanishdict.com is using sub-directories for different parts of the site, that leads to different urls, like this . . .
www.spanishdict.com
my.spanisdict.com
so you have to be in the correct one. Not obvious :-(

Thank you for your help

Have you tried clicking on "unsubscribe now" at the bottom of the e-mail?
