I heard in one of the old mexican song:

No soy uno de SERES

i am not sure of the spelling of seres if it should be like that or should be Ceres or something else, but that how it sounded to my ears.

i think it means something like: i am not one of these MEN'?

any idea'

No, it is grammatically perfect. The sense is not so clear. It would be rather unusual to hear, in English too: one of those beings hit me on the head.

In Spain we would not say "por la cabeza" but on the head: en la cabeza

It seems to be so unusual that :

Su búsqueda - "one of those beings hit me on the head" - no produjo ningún documento.

anyway, nothing wrong with it grammatically.

Where is your friend from? Just saying.....

sorry i miss typed the sentences:

so the second one is wrong..? because i asked for some examples from a friend and that was one of the examples.

i got back to my friend to say that i have been told that Uno de los seres.... is wrong, and my friend said that it should be fine to use it that way and you can even hear it in movies..

so,,,is it grammatically wrong, but it could be used as a way of expression?
or it is just wrong, no what-if or but'

I think seres is the correct spelling. In this context it means beings as in human beings.

clipped from RAE definition of Ser:

  1. m. Cosa creada, especialmente las dotadas de vida. Seres orgánicos. Seres vivos.

  2. m. ser humano. Es un ser admirable. Seres desgraciados.

Sorry, this does not mean anything. Can you include the title of the song, please?

There might be an article missing.
