what does "te extraño"means? is it the same with "te echo de menos"'

Yes, they mean the same, but the former is used more often in Latin America than in Spain.

ten cuidado - informal take care tenga cuidado - formal take care

te echo de menos - informal I miss you

le echo de menos - formal I miss you (although I am not sure that a formal term for this phrase would be used)

Sanchez, if you can guess at the most information-bearing words in your sentences, you can look those up in the dictionary at this site. In this case, "care" and "miss" will give you your answers.I hear (and use) "cuídate" a lot. To me, "ten cuidado" gives too much a nuance of "be careful", but my ears aren't fully calibrated.Cuídate smile

I think cuidate means more like take care of yourself, whereas ten cuidado means take care as in

Take care to drive slowly
or
Take care to read the instructions carefully
