So I'm trying to figure out what some words we use mean:

What does Salvadorean call themselves? I should kow this but, I am out of luck.

Catracho is for Hondurans. Guanaco is for Salvadorans, nicoya for Nicaraguans.

Eh, gracias a todos por responder. Actually Gus Catracho is what we hondurans call ourselves I have no idea what it means though. I'm sure some research would help. I was asking around pero nadie sabia... ni los que nacieron alli.

I think 'jalon' means 'marker, stake or milestone'

Maje I think means 'gullible' in Mexico.

Rigio - I have no idea!
