Escalar o Escalada

I'm putting together a series of words -- Travel, Camp and Climb. Which word would work best for Climb - escalar or escalada -- this is in reference to both rock and ice climbing.

While "ir de escalada" does mean "to go climbing," you want the infinitive here.

Viajar, Acampar, y Escalar

The verb is escalar. Escalada is one of the derivatives, so I think escalar.
