Studying Spanish in Costa Rica or Panama'?

I spent 4 weeks in the 2 towns of Quepos and Manuel in Costa Rica and 2 weeks in the beautiful islands of Bocas Del Toro, Panama .
In order to be able to enjoy contact with the local people, I took lessons of spanish at El Paraiso School. The school has excellent teachers, friendly management and veryhelpful staff, I learned a lot in my time there.
I had soo much fun taking some of the adventure tours that the staff reserved for me - canopy, river rafting, kayaking, I loved the the tATV 4x 4 tour with Quad as well as exploring the islands of Bocas Del Toro, which are spectacular.
It was the best "travel & learn" experience I had so far.

In Costa Rica you will learn Central American Spanish which uses the voseo, that it using "vos" instead of tú. The use changes the verb also, for example: vos comés as opposed to tú comes. In Panama you will learn Caribbean Spanish which is pretty corrupt in the sense that ss are aspirated and the ends of words are dropped off. Both are good as far as tourism is concerned although Costa Rica has become more expensive because of tourism. The name of the game is rip off the tourist.
