"It is OK for me"?

Tuve algunas preguntas cuándo algo escribía para alguien.
"It is cold in San Francisco,too. But it is OK for me because it is colder in winter in the city where I am from."
Qué escribí que fue "también hace frío en San Francisco, pero está bien por mí porque hace más frío en invierno en la ciudad de dónde soy."
No estoy seguro si está correcto ustar "por mí" y "hace más frío" y "de dónde soy" aquí.
¿Alguien puede ayudarme por favor?

"Donde" is used mainly as a relative, and it is basically equal to "en el (sitio) que":

I was thinking that the difference might be like what lazarus told me. "Dónde" is used in questions.

Donde is an adverb and dónde is an interrogative pronoun.
-¿Dónde naciste?
-Nací donde vivo todavía.
-Where were you born?
-I was born where I still live.

Also iker gave me a different way to say "the city I am from". Gracias.

You've gotten some good suggestions, but I wonder if we could also say "No me pasa nada" in this context. I'm not suggesting that it would be the best translation, but I think it could work.
I wouldn't have never said "Me cae bien" myself. My personal choices in this case:
Me da igual - I don't mind
No me molesta - it doesn't bother me
No tengo ningún problema
No tengo problema alguno
"Lo llevo bien", from Iker is pretty common too.

I was trying to say that I had some questions when I was writing something to someone. I did not know how to write it in Spanish naturally.
"No me molesta" makes sence for me and it is harder to understand "caer" used here.

In my opinion everything is ok except "por mí" should be "para mí"

I would say "También hace frío en San Francisco, pero lo llevo (soporto) bien porque hace más frío en invierno en la ciudad donde nací (de donde soy).
..pero me cae bien (o no me molesta) porque los inviernos están más fríos en la ciudad donde vivía anteriormente.
