What does this word mean'

This was a single word someone had on a profile. There is no context to go with the word. I think it might be "meow" from what I've been told by others. Thank you for your explanation as well.

Without any context it's impossible to guess. The word could be misspelled. Often people ask about words that they have only heard and aren't sure of the spelling. Going by sound alone this word could be spelled mallado as the double ll in Spanish sometimes sounds like a y as in you..
