6) (this one im not sure about because the copier kind of cut it off the words cree and como, the last letter i guessed on becuase i can only see part of it) The class of aquatic animals. Phil thinks that Maria something...i don't understand nada. I think it might be nadar conjugated'
Emily, rather than going back and forth like this, just translate all of the sentences here, and we can make corrections all at once.
For number five i think its...the color of the Linares' house. Also, its a drink that you almost always get hot'

Oh thats def not how i thought you said it. I don't really understand number four either....i thought las cosas meant "thing" and viejas meant "old person". So that doesn't make sense if there next to each other
"Cosas viejas" means "old things". "Viejas" can act as a noun as in "old women [hags]" and also as an adjective. Oops, I just saw James' post. He's right. "Viejas" can refer to women or feminine nouns in the plural form.
Viejas means old, and can refer to any feminine, plural noun, not just people. Cosas is a feminine, plural noun, so the two words mean "old things."

so im thinking that maybe #1 would mean that the "El Tecnologico do Monterrey" is a title for the university and its saying that that place is a university but its also this other thing (its for a crossword and you have to fill in the blank)....is that right?
Yes, that's right. See? Not so hard.
Thanks for changing the thread title, but in the future, try to include a few relevant words from your question. Also, you should have posted this to the Proofreading forum, which is for checking and editing translations. This forum is for asking questions like "how do you say exchange students'" The answer is estudiantes de intercambio.

You would have to try much harder than that to offend me! The rule is for the benefit of students. If we do their homework, they won't learn anything.
Do your best translating the sentences, and we can offer corrections. But if you don't change your thread title, this thread will be deleted.
I apologize, i wasn't trying to get someone to do my homework for me. I need the meaning of those sentences so i can actually complete the assignment, the assignment isn't to figure out the meanings. And i have already done most of it i just needed some help with those. So I'm sorry if i offended you because you thought i was a rule breaker who is too lazy to do my homework.
There is a rule against doing homework for people here. Try it yourself, and ask specific questions. Also, you need to read the rules above about thread titles.
