Little Princess ... princesita?
Can anybody tell me if "Little Princess" would be translated to "princesita" in Spanish? And, how would I say/write "Mommy's Little Princess"?
"princesita de mama" ?
My friend is having a baby girl and I want to have this embroidered on a bib for her.
Thanks for any help you might have. Muchas gracias!

Muchas gracias, Ricardo. It's interesting that you would suggest "Mommy's treasure", because last month I was on a Romanian translation page looking for a similar translation for a Romanian co-worker, and they also suggested that "Gramma's treasure" was more appropriate than Grammas Little Boy.
Anyway, my friend who is now having this "princesita" is quite American, she's from Vermont, but her husband's family is Dominican. I think I like the "tesoro de mama" better. Thank you for the tip about the tilde, I forgot about that!
This is a great website, I'm glad I found it. I've been using the dictionary page for a while, but just tried out the forums .
Thanks again for your help.
YOu are correct in that the translation of MOmmy's Little Princess is 'princesita de mamá'
don't forget the tilde because mama and mamá are different words!
mama means to suckle.
HOwever I wouldn't have called my daughter that.
probably more 'tesoro de mamá' mommy's treasure.
But use whatever works for you.
