Feliz Navidad

This is a christmas message to friends in Montevideo, and also to all of you who have helped me get to a point where I can send such a message. I think this one is pretty good.

Hola queridos amigos, y Feliz Navidad. Estamos juntos como una familia otra vez. Matthew está en casa, y estamos muy felices, pero él siente nostalgia por su otro hogar. Ahora no sabe por cierto cuál lugar es "home." Esperamos que ustedes estén felices y que todos tengan buena salud. Como dije en otro mail, esto es un tiempo difícil, pero tenemos trabajo y nuestra salud y esperamos que los tengan ustedes tambien. Mandamos un abrazo para dividir entre ustedes (en tiempos como estos, tenemos que compartir)

English:
Hello dear friends and Merry Christmas. We are together as a family now. Matthew is home, and we are very happy, but he is feeling homesick for his other home. Now He doesnt know for sure which place is home. We hope that you are all happy and healthy. As I said in another message, this is a difficult time, but we still have work and our health, and we hope the same is true for you. We are sending a hug to divide among yourselves.( In times like these we have to share)

It looks pretty good. I would edit the following sentences..."Ahora no sabe de verdad qué lugar es 'home'," and, "Como les había dicho en el otro mail, estamos pasando por un tiempo difícil, pero tenemos trabajo y nuestra salud y esperamos que ustedes también estén disfrutando de lo mismo."

Actually Eddy that part will be ok. It's the which side of the Atlantic are you on? issue. Over here in the colonies, no vosotros. Ustedes is the only option with 2nd person plural.

Hi Steve As a start, you might want to revise your initial draft yourself. You are writing to friends but referring to them as strangers in the use of the third person when you are conjugating your verbs.

Hi Steve
As a start, you might want to revise your initial draft yourself. You are writing to friends but referring to them as strangers in the use of the third person when you are conjugating your verbs.
