Need help on translation for essay on the benifits on neighbors

I hope that you are having a great holiday season. I just needed a little bit of help on this transation. It would really help if you all could help me correct the Spanish transation. Thanks in advance.
English:
I think that there are situations when it is good to be a part of a close-knit community, but there are not any sitations when it is harmful to have good relations with your neighbors. There are three exampless of these words, on in the short movie "Roots",on example from my life, and one example in the life of one of my freinds. It helps all the people in a neighborhood when the neighbors have good relations.
In the short movie "roots" it is about an elderly husband and a wife and have not seen there soon in a long time. En one scene Arcadio (the father of the son) wants to cut a tree, to make more space for the car of his son. First since the two (the elderly couple) have good relationships with the neighbor, the neighbor gave advice to help Arcadio to cut the tree.. Second the foremad helped Arcadio in two ways. He gave Arcadio wine when Arcadio was thirsty. Second he lent a man, and an excavator to help Arcadio. He siad that Arcadio should rest. These situations are common when you construct relations with your neighors.
Yes, my family does no have good relations with our neighbors. On day my sister came home from the school and could not find anyone in the home. My parents were not in the house. I was at school. The house was locked, my sister could not enter the house. She walked one mile to a store, and called my mother from there. This would not have occured if we had good relations with hour neighbors. If we did not have good relations my sister could have gone to the houseof one of my neighbors to wait.
An other example when you have good relations with my neighbors in my old neighborhood when we did not have fear of asking for help when necessary.
Good neighbors are gold.

Me parece que hay situaciones cuando es buenosi eres parte de un communidad unidos, pero me parece que no hay situaciones cuando es denino por tienes buen relaciones con los vecinos. Hay tres ejempelos de estes palabras en el cotometraje "Raiz", un ejemplo en mi vida, y un ejemplo en el vida de uno de mis amigos. Se ayuda todas las personas en un barrio cuando tiene buen relaciones con los vecinos.
El cortometraje "Raiz" es por un esposo y esposa viejo y no pueden ver su hijo en un tiempo largo. En un escena Arcadio (el padre del hijo) quiere que quitar un arbol, para hacer mas despacio para la coche de su hijo. Primero por que los dos tiene un buen relacion con sus vecinos, el vecino leda aconsejo que ayudar Arcadio para quitar la arbol. Segundo el capataz de obra ayudo Arcadio en dos caminos. Le da a Arcadio vino cuando Arcadio tener sed. Segundo le presto un hombre y un excavadora para ayuda Arcadio. El dije que Arcadio debe descanso. Este situaciones son comun cuando constuyes relaciones.
Si mi familia no tienen buen relaciones con sus vecinos. Un dia mi hermana regresode la escuela al no encontrar nadie en csa. Mis padres no estaband en csa. yo estaba en la escuela. La casa estaba bloqueado mi hermana no pudo entrar en la casa. Ella camino una milla a una tienda y llamo a mi madre desde alli. No habria ocurrido si se hubiera buenas relaciones con nuestras vecinos. Si tienes buenas relaciones con nuestra vecinos. Si no tienes buenas relaciones mi hermano podria haber ide unos pies de casa de mis vecinos.
Un otro ejemplo cuando tuvo buen relaciones con mis vecinos en mi barrio viejo es cuando nosotros no tuvimos tener preguntar por ayudar cuando necesitas.
Buen relaciones con vecinos son oro.

Me parece que hay situaciones en las que es bueno ser parte de una comunidad unida, y que no existen situaciones en las que el tener una buena relación con los vecinos resulta dañino. He aquí tres ejemplos de estas palabras: uno del cortometraje "Raíces" (o "Roots" si el título original es en ingles), uno de mi propia vida, y uno de la vida de un amigo mío. Cuando los vecinos se llevan bien [tienen una buena relación], toda la comunidad se beneficia.
En el cortometraje "Raíces" se trata de [it has to do with] una pareja [a couple] mayor [advanced in age] que hace mucho tiempo no ve a su hijo [whenever you do something to a person, you have to have a in Spanish]. En una escena, Arcadio (el padre) quiere arrancar [pull out by the roots] un árbol para crear espacio para el coche de su hijo. Ya que [since] la pareja tiene una buena relación con el vecino, éste les da un consejo que ayuda a Arcadio a arrancar el árbol. En otro ejemplo, el capataz de obra ayuda a Arcadio de dos formas [or maneras]: le da vino cuando tiene sed, y le presta un obrero y una excavadora para que le ayuden [you don't have to keep mentioning Arcadio]. Le dice a Arcadio que descanse. Tales situaciones son muy comunes cuando se crean buenas relaciones con los vecinos.

En nuestra vecindad antigua, podíamos pedir ayuda de los vecinos cuando la necesitábamos.
