how is best to translate when you know that the community memeber have basic reading spanish skills. anyone have a good website that translates really well

If by "a good website that translates really well", you mean machine translation (automated), then there's no such thing. MT occasionally (with simple sentences) produces a good translation but more often produces "broken" English/Spanish/whatever and (more often than good translations) results in howlers.
