There is a single word in Spanish that means TO TALK TO ONESELF, I would be very pleased if a member will remind me of what that word is.

English: talk to oneself = monoloquize or soliloquize

Spanish has both "monólogo" and "soliloquio" as nouns, and "monologar" and "soliloquiar", but they are rather posh words (especially the latter), and you wouldn't use them normally in informal situations.

Estar ensimismado

means this:

ensimismado, -a
adjective
1. absorbed (enfrascado); lost in thought (pensativo)

But this is not talking to oneself.
