And if you think about it Anthony, there is some logic when literally translated into English.
It remains well with me or it suits me.

hi, quedar bien is a fixed phrase: to suit
el rojo me queda bien= it suits me.
also: they are the correct size. In your sentence it could mean both, depends on context.
