My Introduction / Mi Introductiones

Mi llama es Estevan and so as not to embarass myself I'll switch to english.

I want to say Hi/Hello to everybody here and give some information about myself. I'm an old geezer of 54 and have been trying off and on to learn spanish for years.
I lived for three years in Spain and found that I could speak street spanish after a fashion but never learned the grammer. I've traveled to Chile, Argentina, Mexico and Southern California and was always able to make myself understood. I love the Spanish/Latin culture and I'm trying to talk my wife into moving to a southern country. No success yet.

I've taken a semestar of spanish in college and got an A and for the last four or five years I have been perusing a spanish lesson dvd set that covers two years of spanish. I've found that I have not been speaking nearly enough spanish and so I am taking steps to correct that.

Please excuse me if I ramble on, this site really gets me excited and renews my desire to learn spanish. My wife even said she is learning more spanish just because I found this site and I am talking to her about it. Well enough for now, holler away.
