jeje
My daughter has a friend in La Paz she communicates with and in his emails he quite often says "jeje". Can someone tell me what this means.

Remember that j in Spanish sounds like h in English. (A very sloppy statement -- the phonetics deities on the forum will probably zap me for that -- but you get the point.) So jeje / jaja in Spanish is just like hehe / haha in English.
Jardi, jar, jar.
