Hi teacher,

Being a teacher, also, I know that is important to send clear messages to students and parents.
When checking out of school, generally there is a signature involved. I am going to give you "sign out".
That is "firmar la salida".

If you are dealing with folks that don't understand English, this should make it clear that they must sign out of school. The other verbs that are used for check out are words like irse and marcharse. They give more of an idea of just taking off and going. What do you think'
