I'm having trouble finding how to say "diving," as in the sport of springboard diving

I do not speak proper spanish -- but I have said this a hundred times and my Mexican friends have also spoken the same.
"Salto me cabeza" (I dive) or "Saltas tu cabeza" (You dive) however "saltando" I belive is (diving). I do not know the word "clavados" -- guess I'll look it up.
And a diver is called clavadista (m/f) or saltadora (m/f), but I believe clavadista is more Latin America.
