Describing my family in basic Spanish.

Question

I have to write a 1 page essay and I want to make it flow as well as possible and not sound like just a rigid excuse to prove I know all the vocab and some verbs.

To open up I want to explain that I have a big family because my parents are divorced and both remarried.

Something like this:
"I am pretty sure I was an accident, although my mother will never admit it. My parents got divorced 2 years after my birth and are both remarried." (or married again or something) I am very close with both sides of my family.

En Espano:
Estoy bastante seguro que fui un accidente, aunque mi madre nunca lo admitirá. Mis padres divorciados tiene 2 años después de mi nacimiento y ahora ambos están casados" Estoy cercano con ambos lados de mi familia

Estoy bastante seguro que fui un accidente, aunque mi madre nunca lo admitirá. Mis padres se divorciaron dos años después de mi nacimiento y ahora ambos están otra vez casados (o ahora ambos se volvieron a casar). Estoy muy unido a ambas partes de mi familia.
