Mi Gordis
what does that mean in english

Unless "Gordis" is a name, it means nothing and isn't proper Spanish.
I may have figured this out. There is a taco stand named Mi Gordi's. Note the apostrophe, although it doesn't appear in the photo of the sign here.
It does seem that gordi is used as an abbreviation of gordito/a by some people, although it isn't standard Spanish.
In Argentina it is used as slang. "gordi", can be said as a short form of "gordito" or "gordita" and it's a very sweet way of calling someone. Nowadays some people, specially teens add and "s" at the end of the words and you can listen to things such as: "gordis" "chuchis" "chiquis" etc. even "amiguis"
In Chilean slang is ¨honey¨: mi gordi. But in others cases is an ironic for saying ¨rolly polly¨ .
"baby girl," you have two threads open about the same question (a forum no-no).
Lady Di also said, on the other thread, that it's a term of endearment, so it must have some currency. Southwest U.S. maybe'''

You may be right, but could you show me some Web evidence? Gordita or gordito would be an affectionate term meaning chubby, but I don't think gordi is used in Spanish. And if it were plural, gordis, the possessive pronoun would have to be "mis," not "mi."
