Hola, estoy atorada con una traducción de un contrato de comodato y no logro encontrar la palabra "comodante" en inglés. ¿Alguien podrìa ayudarme? Gracias de antemano

If this contract is for your own use then I would write a paragraph explaining(spelled out) exactly what both parties agree on. I mean thats what contracts are for, it spells exactly what is expected of both parties and who the parties are, forget the word comodato go around it.
If it is an official translation (one that you are getting pay for) then I am hands off.

Sì lazarus1907, eso es exactamente de lo que habla el contrato, pero no puedo encontrar la palabra en inglés. Encontrè que un Contrato de Comodato es un LOAN FOR USE AGREEMENT, pero còmo puedo decir "comodante" y "comodatario", o sea aquel que recibe el beneficio del prèstamo y aquel que lo otorga.

Claudi, maybe you should explain what this word means, as it is too specific.

"Comodante" is the person who lends something, expecting this thing to be returned by law at some point, even if it is not exactly the same one, as long as it is the same sort of stuff.

Did I get the right idea'
