Well, I can understand your version better than the English version (not a very good reflection on the English sentence) -- maybe you should offer your services to the Costa-Rican resorts! (ha ha)

I don´t want to hijack the thread but I´d very much like to hear opinions about the relative merits (if merits there be) of saying "muchos de vosotros sabéis ..." in this sentence.

I think she meant she didn't consider the English version catchy.
Ah, got it. My bad.
I think she meant she didn't consider the English version catchy. A matter of opinion, of course.

I agreed with you Natasha. I have brought this up too.
What do you mean? You have brought up what?
It doesn't translate the concept of the article too well. And it's difinitely not catchy.
I specifically said it wasn't supposed to be catchy. I was trying to give a basic translation so that someone else could provide a better copy version.

OK, thanks for clearing that up. You may think this is very funny, but the English version was missing a hyphen which actually confused me, because it made it seem like "footprint resort" went together.
Discover which of Costa Rica's tiny-footprint resorts have big-deal spas"

Yes, perfectly. It's actually a good title (as ad copy goes). It is aimed at "green" customers who want to patronize resorts that are environmentally friendly and also have great spas. I interpret "big-deal" here as in "Those spas are a big deal," i.e., very substantial or important.
One problem is that the translation has to distinguish between resort and spa, both of which can be rendered as balneario. I would be tempted to translate resort as hotel here.
Although I can't write Spanish copy, the basic meaning in Spanish would be something like this:
Discubre cuál de los hoteles costarriquenses tienen muy poco impacto ambiental mientras tienen balenarios fantásticos.

"Discover which of Costa Rica's tiny footprint resorts have big-deal spas"Translations of copy such as this are very difficult, because you can't just do a literal translation. The English here is making a little joke by contrasting tiny with big, but it would be difficult to make the same contrast of adjectives in Spanish without modifying the meaning a bit. This one is beyond my skill level, so I'll leave it to a native speaker.

What do you think of these options? Which one would be better...
