Ok guys this has taken me forever and of course there is going to be mistakes. I am only on my seventh class of my first spanish course. Thanks so much to all the people who helped out last time and it would be greatly appriciated if you did so again. Big thanks to James too anyway this one is longer so i will post it in parts. Here is the first and then i will make another thred whith the other part named Essay help #3 here it is:
English: (very basic english i am not stupid i just dont want to Translate monster words)
Guatemala is a very beautiful country and a very big tourist attraction. There are also some very important people that have come out of Guatemala. These people are Ricardo Arjona y Rigoberta Menchu. Ricardo Arjona is a singer that was born near Antigua Guatemala. He has won two Grammy awards from his three nominations and is greatly known in the espanol speaking world. He has many albums that have come out including one that came out this year.
The next lady is of great importance. Rigoberta Menchu is and indigenous Guatemalan. She spent her life publicising the bad times of the other Guatemalan indigenous people during the civil war. She was trying to promote rights for the indigenous people in her country. For her great and outstanding work she was awarded the Noble Piece Prize in 1992 bring great respect to the Hispanic nation.
One of the most amazing sights in Guatemala is in Tikal. It is the largest of ancient Mayan ruined cities. It is part of the UNESCO world heritage site and is visited by tons of tourists each year. Some of the other amazing sights to see are the Volcanoes. They are located all over the country. If you ever go to Antigua you will notice the how beautiful this town is. With ruins of old churches and buildings and its cobble stone streets. It is a very historical place to go. This country has made many contributions to the world. With is vast history of the Mayans, which was one of the first people on this earth to the Grammy winning music of Ricardo Arjona.
Guatemala is considered 'un Orgullo Hispano? because of the lady who fought hard for her people and won the noble peace prize and because of its vast history of Hispanic culture.

Guatemala es un país muy hermoso y una gran atracción turística. Existen también algunas personas muy importantes que han salido de Guatemala. Estas personas son Ricardo Arjona y Rigoberta Menchú. Ricardo Arjona es un cantante que nació cerca de Antigua Guatemala. ÿl ha ganado dos premios Grammy a partir de sus tres nominaciones y es muy conocido en el mundo de habla español. ÿl tiene muchos álbumes que han salido incluyendo una que salió este año.
La siguiente dama es de gran importancia. Rigoberta Menchú es e indígenas de Guatemala. Pasó su vida dar a conocer los malos tiempos de los demás pueblos indígenas de Guatemala durante la guerra civil. Ella estaba tratando de promover los derechos de los pueblos indígenas en su país. Por su gran y excelente trabajo que fue galardonado con el Premio Noble de música en 1992 a un gran respeto a la nación hispana.
Uno de los más sorprendentes lugares de interés turístico de Guatemala es Tikal. Es el más grande de las antiguas ruinas mayas ciudades. Es parte de la UNESCO Patrimonio de la Humanidad y es visitado por turistas de toneladas cada año. Algunos de los otros lugares de interés turístico increíble ver son los Volcanes. Están ubicados en todo el país. Si alguna vez vaya a la Antigua, te darás cuenta de cómo la hermosa es esta ciudad. Con ruinas de antiguas iglesias y edificios y sus calles de piedra guijarro. Es un lugar muy histórico que ir. Este país ha hecho muchas contribuciones al mundo. Con está gran historia de los mayas, que fue una de las primeras personas en esta tierra a la ganadora del Grammy de música de Ricardo Arjona.

You've got a great start here, and some good information. There are several errors in your Spanish translation that stem from errors in the English. For example: Rigoberta Menchu is and indigenous Guatemalan. The "and" was translated "e"; "an" would have been translated "una"
In the English you stated that Rigoberta was awarded the Noble Piece Prize in 1992 bring great respect to the Hispanic nation. I think you wanted to say "Nobel Peace Prize" and "bringing great respect ..." Also, in the Spanish you translated that sentence to say that she was awarded the Nobel Prize for Music.
When you write something, it's hard to see your own errors. See if you can find someone you trust to proof-read the English, then you can make the corresponding corrections to the Spanish.
Again, you have a great start here. Once you get the typos fixed in both English and Spanish, you'll be in good shape. Then you can ask some of our resident experts (such as Laz, James, Heidita, Natasha) to put the polishing touches on the essay and you'll have a perfect product.

'The last two sentences, I must say, seem somewhat disjointed. I don't know if you meant to merge them somehow but maybe it's just me.
