lol i know that word. :D
Thanks so much!
I really appreciate the detail. Really! This helps me greatly.
Yes, as manutd says this has to be the verb "mamar".
1) It has a perfectly respectable meaning which is "to suckle", "to feed":
- En cuanto termina de mamar, se duerme (She falls asleep as soon as she's finished feeding)
- Las madres que no quieren dar de mamar a sus bebés [...] (Mothers who choose not to breast-feed their babies[...])
2) Now if you don't want to learn aobut this abusive word just read no more.
The second meaning is "to suck", and I leave the rest to your imagination. I had written a longer message explaining the taboo meanings of this verb and its derivatives, but then I thought I'd rather scrap it all since this forum can be accessed by minors, and I don't want to be kicked out on my second day!
So, Martin's original sentence would be the surprised answer of someone who has been asked to do that.
A longer answer, meaning the same, would be: ¡Pero qué dices! ¿Quieres que te la ...'
3) "Estar mamado" is the same as "Estar borracho" (to be drunk).
Do you mean mamar'
I came to the same conclusion by looking up the verb lamer.
That's why I wanted to read whatever he wrote first. "Que te la mame" (2 words) means, quite literally, what Alba says.
well buddy..
that expression is very nasty; "que te lamame" referred to oral sex.
my english its not good... but i love help because i love the different languages.
Then perhaps you should tell us what you wrote to her, if it is not too personal
Sounds like she is trying to say call me. Que te llamame. However that would not be the correct way of saying it. One correct way would be "que me llamas". It seems that she was using the reflexive form of the verb llamar which is llamarse. This is more or less to be called something like what do you call yourself or "como se llama" . She actually used two direct objects in this phrase. The -te -and -me- would both be used as direct objects. Hope this helps.
No. That is what she wrote back to me. That's the entire phrase.
Is there more to this'
