It's been a long time...(since we saw each other)
or how do you say? "boy, it's been a long time hasn't it'" Is there a common sentence/phrase for this? Going to see a friend of mine in Mexico, and its been 2 months since we seen each other. Wanted to speak correctly with this comment.

Thanks for the help. I'll try and remember the easiest one. Oh and (she's) a female, wink wink!
Pasó mucho tiempo hace que nos vemos. (much time has passesd since we saw each other)
With all due respect to you and all living things in the universe, I am forced to say that the sentence above is incorrect. Here is the correct form :
hace que nos vemos...... Ha pasado mucho tiempo de que nos hemos visto.
The rest of your work is darn good.
¡ Cuate! Tanto tiempo sin vernos.
Cuate is a word meaning buddy, comarade in Guatemala. I don't know if it is used any where else.
Compa, tanto tiempo sin vernos.
tanto is a word that is applied to an undefined time.
compa is short for compañero, it is used in Mexico. I heard it all the time.
¡Hombre, cuánto tiempo (hace que no nos vemos)!
