Please help with a translation
Hi everyone - I am trying to learn Spanish but have a legal document with part of the text I do not understand - "admón de dchos de" - does anyone know what this means?
I am going to try and use this site in conjunction with the Spanish CDs I had bought for Christmas - wish me luck!

Yes, Millie is correct. "administration of rights".
I think admon is abbreviation for administrative, administration,
dchos, is derechos, rights,

Thank you Cherry for your time. My nephew's wife Montse is Spanish - living in London, but she is at work at the moment. Perhaps between you all here and Montse can get me up and running. I am itching to get cracking so hope there is room on this site for someone whose limits in Spanish extend to ordering a gin and tonic and a selection of tapas!!
You have me stumped on this one. Maybe when one of the native speakers comes on they can figure it out. I am sure that they are abbreiviations, but who knows of what?

Hi Cherry - thank you so much. To cut down a very long winded story I sent a table to Tenerife via DHL last December. I stayed in for four separate days waiting for a promised delivery but it did not happen. They lost it - then found it, then delivered it over a month later - broken. Whilst they are paying back the money I paid to have it shipped, my phone bills and the estimated repair costs they say that there was an element of taxes and duty. On the form there is the phrase "ADMóN DE DCHOS DE" - The O with the accent over it is in capitals. There is also 5% IGIC on the 59.67 euros. The carrier who delivered it and my neighbour paid up said it was for carriage charges but DHL are denying it.
Hope this helps - I can't wait to move over so that I can get to grips with the language quicker - this is when you feel like a numpty - as we say in Yorkshire!!
