I need help with my girlfriend!!!!!

I want to say something very romantic to my girlfriend. I have it in english but when I use the translator it gives me the formal way and I want it to sound natural. Please help the translation!

English

You are the best thing in my life.
Being with you is like having the most wonderful dream every night.
And my greatest desire is to wake up from that dream every morning
holding you in my arms, looking into your beautiful eyes and realizing..... I love you.

Spanish

Usted es la mejor cosa en mi vida.
Estar con ustedes es como tener el más maravilloso sueño cada noche.
Y mi mayor deseo es despertar de ese sueño cada mañana

Correction - I meant to say "Eres la mejor cosa de mi vida.

Personally I don't like "cosa", at least I don't use it when I'm referring to a friend. Also I won't use "realizando" realizar is to execute or to do something.
I will suggest:

Eres lo mejor que me ha pasado en mi vida.
Estar contigo es como tener un sueño maravilloso cada noche.
Mi mayor deseo es despertarme cada mañana abrazándote, mirando tus lindos ojos y comprendiendo que... te quiero.

Is it proper that you start off using the formal (usted) in part of the poem (') and then switch to the informal (te)? Or is this part of his realization so he switches from formal to informal to emphasize it?

Oh, and I appreciated the open ended wording of his title.

If you want it to sound natural the better way to say it would be:
Eres la mejor cosa en mi vida.
estar contigo es como tener el más maravilloso sueño cada noche.
Y mi mayor deseo es despertar de ese sueño cada mañana
teniéndote/tomándote en mis brazos, mirando tus bellos ojos y dándome cuenta de que... Te amo.

Realise = darse cuenta, example: I never realise how lucky I am = nunca/jamás me dí cuenta de lo afortunado que soy.

In Spanish the pronouns used to address other people vary depending on thow well you know the person. e.g. tú is familiar while usted is generally polite.
