I am translating an engineering manual from english to spanish. Please help with the word "outline", and "dummy" as in "dummy pump installation".

I think outline in this context would be "esquema:" "esquema de instalación." Sorry, don't know about dummy pump . . .
You are probably going to have a number of foreros here advising you to use a professional translator, since this is a business-related manual.
