Is this idiomatic in English?
"When anyone approaches to Barranquilla coming from other cities..."
The original in Spanish is:
"Cuando alguien se aproxima a Barranquilla viniendo desde otras ciudades..."
Or could be replaced the "anyone" with "one or you" in an impersonal way? i.e. "When one approaches to Barranquilla (reaches Barranquilla) from other cities..."
Thank you

I don't think I would say idiomatic (which, sometimes, has connotations of "informality"). I would prefer to say normal/standard/common. On the other hand, I would prefer "when one" to "when anyone" (but, then, I'm an impersonal kind of guy).
