Sending photo to "My Page"

Question

I can't seem to figure out how to add a picture for "My Page". Is there a way without using my cell phone'

Discovered the "double click" function yet? Just click on the word you are looking for and it will lead you directly to the dictionary and the different "discussions" with the word involved.

I figured it out!!!!!! (kind of) Anyway I went to a my husband's PC. He runs Firefox instead of Internet explorer. I logged in to Spanish Dict, when to My Page and there was the green square you guys have been telling me about. I still don't know why it won't show up when I am using my notebook but at least I can now add a picture. All of you have been fantastic. Thank you so much. I just love this web site.

The problem is I don't have a green square. There is only the words "Photo Profile". Nothing next to it. Only my birthday under it. I have click all around it. When I click on Photo Profile it gives me the definition of Profile.

But the fourth item says Photo profile

That's the one, you have to click there on the little green square.

Go to change your photo, just under your name.
You arrive at "settings".
Just below your name, you have a little green square , click on that and you will get: upload a photo
then click on "from your computer=examinar"
You will get to your computer and find a photo. Any kind of photo will do, look at mine, it is a simple photo, from a digital camera, of my cats. you do not need to reduce it.
After adding the photo, click on "done"

Tell me if it worked!

Okay, mine says "photo profile" too. I goofed. But next to that there is a tiny little photo and a button. No button or icon or anything just to the right of the words "photo profile" on yours?

Thank you for replaying. This may be the problem. When I click on Change Photo, it brings up my info too. But the fourth item says Photo profile. Under that is my birthday, gender, city, state,etc. At the end it says Useful Addresses. Under that is Page Address and Add by phone. There it says "Add photos and videos to Spanishdict from your phone by sending them to this email address [e-mail]. Nothing says my photo. I have sent two pictures to this email address. The first was large so I selected a smaller one 661K and it is a jpeg file. Any suggestions'

Okay, when I click "change photo" on my page, it takes me to a page with all my information... about the 4th item down says "my photo", and has a tiny version of my current photo, with a little green & blue rectangle icon on a button next to it. When I roll over the icon, it says "upload a photo", and when I click it it gives me a window which will let me browse my computer to find the image I want to upload. (Of course, the image you want to use has to be stored on your computer in the first place...). Does that help'

Upload it from your PC (Mac) where it says "change my picture".
I assume that the attached picture is the one that you want to use. It's has a .jpg format so it should be ok. I think the problem is the file size (1.2 MB). Find a picture that has a smaller fiie size (smaller resolution) and try loading it. If it works then the file size is your problem. There are several ways to reduce the file size of this particular picture if you really want to use it. Enter it into a photo program (if you're using Windows it has a default photo gallery) and reduce the megapixels or resolution (instead of 1280x720, for instance, save it as 800x600). For the small photo that you're going to use as an avatar you don't need a high resolution picture.
