¡Hola!
Does anyone have a good, possibly foolproof, recipe for churros? smile My spanish teacher told me about it two days ago and my boyfriend, being a great cook, decided to give it a try and at the moment he's stirring flour and stuff smile We've decided to follow this recipe http://www.clic.es/churros_recipe.php but we've seen many many others and they varied a lot. Some suggested that the produced dough itself should be sweet, others didn't list sugar at all and followed only the chocolate dip scheme.
I hope we will survive long enough to give it another shot wink and so we'll be grateful for some advice.

Best place for CHURROS no doubt, Chocolateria san gines, in Madrid. Famous for people going there on New Years Day, after celebrating .

the difference between both is because the churros flour is similar to the hot cakes flour, it has other ingredients, this is just the way everybody cook them here in Mexico, where you can find churros in every corner of any city.

And how does it differ from a 'normal' flour? Our first churros look like huge cornflakes (we don't have a decorators' tube, so we put dough into oil using a spoon smile But they're pretty tasty even without any chocolate!
