Hola!
This is just a brief introduction... I hope I'm allowed to do this. If you can't already tell, I'm new to the forum, and also, new to the language. I hope to better my skills here and make some new friends.
As explained in my profile, I've decided to take on the challenge of learning Spanish, not only because I enjoy languages, but this summer I met a Spanish boy on my holiday to Menorca.
Although this is a very condensed version (not to mention I will most likely come off sounding melodramatic and perhaps even stupid...), we fell in love. Yes, at 15 years old; impossible right?
He's coming to Manchester in october for one week, and I'm hoping to be quite far along with the linguistics by then.
Just two years ago, I opted to study French over Spanish; now I'm juggling both - it could get interesting. I understand it will be difficult, and alot of work will be needed, but I am quite determined. In fact, I'm actually considering taking this on into further (and higher) education - possibley using it in a career.
