What's wrong with this?

La frase es la siguiente:

  • Los humanos no deben enfocar en lo stático, sino en lo que se hace dinámico.

Mi profesor ha dibujado un circulo sobre "lo statico" y no se por que?

Gracias por vuestros consejos

miren lo de focalizar, sí viene en el diccionario:

focalizar.

(Del ingl. to focalize).

  1. tr. Hacer converger un haz de luz o de partículas.

  2. tr. Centrar, concentrar, dirigir. U. t. c. prnl.

El profesor no debe de tener un buen conocimiento del idioma, porque como ya se ha observado, el Castellano en esas frases es bastante mediocre, y él solamente se fijó en "statico".

Yo quiero bailar contigo.

If you have learned Spanish when you were very young and did not practice it for many years, the knowledge is still in your brain.

Try to find people who speak only Spanish, and start talking with them, so you will be forced to speak the language.

In about a month or two you will be able to recall all that buried knowledge!

focalizar ---|--I couldn't find this word in the dictionary.
Los humanos deben enfocarse....
He also could have said,
Los humanos no debemos enfocarnos en lo estatico, si no en lo dinamico.

Pero, por que ese circulo'

I say enfocarse, since he did say los humanos therefore, deben enfocarse
He could also have said, Los humanos debemos enfocarnos
plus, I want to know the reason for the circle? Let's get the professor to clarify!

Hi Mary,
i would use the word "focalizar" instead of enfocar, but i think both are correct.
enfocar una luz hacia...
enfocar un problema en aras de una solución...
enfocar a alguien desde mi cámara de fotos...

focalizar un problema = aislar un problema
focalizar mis esfuerzos en = to focus my efforts on ''?

es-tá-ti-co. We clearly prononce 4 syllables

it must be LO ESTATICO
actually... LOS HUMNAOS NO DEBEN ENFOCARSE EN LO ESTATICO
OR
LOS HUMANOS NO SE DEBEN ENFOCAR EN LO ESTATICO.

you can pronounce ST in spanish, for exapmle in STEFAN STRESS STatus... but it is not common and those are words used in spanish, but not originallly spanish.

Just a thought...does the spanish language have any words that begin with 'st' ? This can't be pronounced in Spanish as far as i know..

Probablamente, eso es por que tu profesor dibujó un circulo sobre la palabra 'statico'

Debe ser 'estatico' '
