Locos Saludos

In what context would someone take the phrase "locos saludos" ?

Could it be plainly from one friend to another?

Two people who are very close?

Or people who have been intimate before?

(I'm asking because my BF recieved a text message and deleted it immediately after he received it which seemed suspicious to me. He and his friend are from Honduras)

Thanks!

To me it just sounds like a slang way of saying hello. Literally, "crazy greetings." I see nothing that would imply any romantic connection, and it could be used among friends.

Just ask your boyfriend about it. If you can't trust him, that might be a problem...
