I would like to stop receiving these. I've been clicking "don't follow " on each post I read, and I thought I'd checked for no emails in my profile. But today I had almost 400 emails from spanishdict.com. An hour or so later I had more! I would like to receive NO emails from this site. I check the forums daily so I don't need notification of new entries.

Please tell me how to eliminate these email notifications.

Thank you.

No! you only have to click one post on each subject. ie, if you have 20 "Accents" posts, just open 1 and click on it so it says "follow". You will have to either delete the others or open them, but it should stop any more "accents" posts. The post must not say "stop following" at the bottom. WHAT ARE YOUR POSTS SAYING AT THE BOTTOM WHEN YOU OPEN THEM.

Eddy! Do you mean for me to go through all those posts and put them back to follow? EGADS! That's
time and energy consuming. I've put this one to follow.

In my profile section I have checked NO mail at all ever under any condition, etc. It's been that way for
quite awhile now.

Good morning Heidita... thanks. I didn't understand how that worked. If all else fails, I will do that. But in this batch of 13, there are two I would have checked on. I know your name and Eddy's!I don't want to complicate my life by checking two email boxes every day. I'd rather use myregular one. And by the way, this email notifications discussion is checked "stop following".

Lyn changing your e-mail address you have to enter the password you are using now on this forum, not the new one yet!Once this is accepted, you can also change your password.

Lyn the choice at the bottom of the post must NOT SAY "stop following", It should read "Follow". If it is saying "stop following" just click on it so it reads follow. Confusing I know.

Eddy, I've been working on doing just that. But there are so many it may take the
rest of my life! Soy anciana! Right now there are 13 in my box since about 10:30 p.m.
They might be slowing down.Thank you for whatever you've been doing to help.

I haven't been able to change my email address yet. I'd rather not, but I will change
it if that's the only way. I understand a yahoo box will hold 5g of mail, and can be
all deleted at once about every two weeks.

I haven't looked at these last 13 yet. I spotted your name so I opened that email
and got here with the link in it.

From my page I tried to change my email to a yahoo account. But it won't accept the yahoo password.

Lyn, the easiest way out is to change your e-mail address. You can change it on settings.

Rudy started the discussion "Learn Spanish 1.1 - Greetings and Introductions - Speak".

The unwanted emails seem to be all coming from the new lessons. Is there a way to
block emails from that new section. One click that does it all will satisfy me - for the
time being. If more come in, I'll be back.

My ISP person suggested I ask how many email addresses does this site have. Each of them must be blocked.
So how many email address does this site use?

Blocking the address I tried to give here hasn't stopped the barrage of emails coming in.

I also learned that "flaming" is not the proper term for this annoyance. It's called 'SPAM'!

the email address didn't print out because of the html code. I'll try again...
"SpanishDict" "

I've put http://my.spanishdict.com/forum in the blocked list on my internet server. I hope this doesn't interfere with me using the forum and chat.

Good afternoon, Eddy,

I've unchecked the line to notify third party etc. on my profile page, privacy. Let's see if that undoes the problem of too much email.
