Really, the use is quite indifferent in everyday talk.
No es tan explícito como aquí,
so I have it the wrong way around then...
Hi tad, this would be the definition:
acá.
(Del lat. eccum hac, he aquí).
1. adv. l. En este lugar o cerca de él, a este lugar o cerca de él. No es tan explícito como aquí, por eso admite ciertos grados de comparación. Tan acá Más acá Muy acá
Ven acá ya.
OK this is is a guess.
I've a sort of vague feeling that 'ven acá' is "come 'right' here" as in 'right where I am' and that 'ya' would be the most natural way to add immediacy.
I would be interested to know if anyone has any insights into the differences between 'aquí' and 'acá'.
thank you everyone! i really appreciate the help I think i got it now thank you!
Hi Tom, please note, that you are using the polite form .
Cassandra, remember though, this form is used in many Latin american countries.
Venga aqui inmediatamente!
In México the most common way it is "Ven aca/ Ven aquí"
you could just say: ''Ven!"
Also:
¡Vente por acá! (Get over here!)
Another one more:
¡Ven aquí ahora mismo!
